ME350 Mechatronics Competition
How it Works:
We try to keep this as simple as possible. If you are taking ME350 this semester, just form a small team and get some components from us. The plan is that you can simply check-out items from the list below and play with them for while. After some time (probably four to six weeks), we will ask you to return them, so we can give them to another group. It's just like getting books from the library. If there are components that you think would be cool, yet are still missing from the library, let us know. We can try to add them.
Once you have the components, all you have to do is be creative and build something cool with it. Then make a 60 second video of your device and send it to us. We will show all the videos in the last lecture of ME350 and pick a winner. This is supposed to be a fun and interactive introduction to working with Arduino-style microcontrollers, a key component of ME350.
The exact prize is still TBD, but expect at least a bunch of good sandwiches in addition to a trophy (and bragging rights) :-).
